Its armour of overlapping scales becomes a hypnotic pattern here, for an animal that is severely under threat. Every design starts as Aubrey's own artwork. The silk twill is woven in China, the home of silk; each scarf is then printed in Bangkok and its edges rolled and hemmed by hand, with his signature in the print. ## Ways to wear it - **At the neck**Fold into a long band and knot loosely at the front or side. - **In the hair**As a headscarf, or folded narrow and tied around a ponytail. - **On a bag**Tied to the handle, so the color shows from across the room. - **As a top**Folded into a triangle and knotted behind the neck and back. ## How this design began Part of The Call of the Cardamom series, which celebrates the wildlife of the Cardamom Forest in Cambodia and draws attention to the threat to the forest from poachers and loggers. The series launched in 2024 at The Call of the Cardamoms, a joint exhibition at the House on Sathorn in Bangkok with Bill Bensley and eight other artists and designers, where Aubrey showed paintings, photographs and silk scarves.
