Aubrey Kurlansky spent years designing interiors for luxury hotels in Singapore and Bangkok before turning to silk. His scarves bring the same eye for pattern, color and story: clouded leopards from the forests of Cambodia, phoenixes, pangolins, and heroines from the opera.
Every design starts as his own artwork. The silk twill is woven in China, the home of silk; each scarf is then printed, finished by hand and signed in Bangkok.
90 × 90 cm (about 35 × 35 inches), the classic large square. Big enough to wear as a shawl or a top, and easy to fold into a neck scarf.
