About this design

Sardou ’s Gismonda unfolds like a jeweled relic, Byzantium shimmering beneath devotion and desire. A queen, Gismonda, veiled in power and piety, is bound by duty yet stirred by a forbidden love for a young soldier who saves her life. For a fleeting moment, ceremony yields to passion; the empress becomes a woman.

Every design starts as Aubrey's own artwork. The silk twill is woven in China, the home of silk; each scarf is then printed in Bangkok and its edges rolled and hemmed by hand, with his signature in the print.
