About this design

Turandot by Giacomo Puccini unfolds in a mythic China where Princess Turandot tests suitors with deadly riddles. Prince Calaf answers them all, winning her hand, yet offers her escape if she learns his name by dawn. The slave girl Liù sacrifices herself to protect him.

Every design starts as Aubrey's own artwork. The silk twill is woven in China, the home of silk; each scarf is then printed, finished by hand and signed in Bangkok.

What sizes are there?

Long scarves are 65 × 180 cm, squares 90 × 90 cm (about 35 inches) or 70 × 70 cm, pareos 110 × 230 cm and pocket squares 42 × 42 cm. Each product page shows its size.

Will I have to pay import duty or VAT?

In the US, no: we pay US import duties before your order arrives. Everywhere else, your country's import VAT and any duty are collected by the courier on delivery; we don't charge them at checkout.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock pieces are delivered in 2 to 3 weeks by tracked shipping (US $30, UK £24, Europe €28, UAE AED 110, elsewhere $35 per order). Pieces marked "made to order" are made for you and delivered in 6 to 8 weeks. We ship worldwide.

Can I return it?

To confirm: yes. Send it back unworn within 30 days for a full refund.

Is it a good gift?

Yes. Each scarf is signed by the artist, and the designs aren't sold in shops, so it's a gift few people will already have.

How do I look after it?

To confirm: dry clean, or hand wash cold with a mild silk detergent and dry flat away from sunlight.
