About this design
Shy and solitary, the pangolin moves through the night like a ghost and rolls into a tight ball when threatened. Its armour of overlapping scales becomes a hypnotic pattern here, for an animal that is severely under threat.
Every design starts as Aubrey's own artwork. The silk twill is woven in China, the home of silk; each scarf is then printed in Bangkok and its edges rolled and hemmed by hand, with his signature in the print.
